"Little Detective At Home" - a bookwrap

As a kid I loved to play the "I Spy With My Little Eye" game.  It filled in many boring hours and the whole family participated.  Today's book is similar to the "Where's Waldo?" or the "I Spy" books.  Kids will spend loads of time trying to locate objects on the pages and have great fun pretending to be a detective. I suggest you go to the Dollar Store and purchase a spy glass to make the book even more entertaining while reading and exploring it together.

About the book

I am a big fan of this style of book.  Kids can spend countless hours searching for suggested objects and then show pure delight when they are discovered.  These are books that the whole family, young and old, can participate in.

"Little Detectives At Home"  is targeted to wee ones and the home that they reside in.  Each page features one particular room and it's jam-packed full of  familiar objects that a young child can easily recognize.

Kids can put on their detective hat, grab their magnifying glass and hunt away.  The busy pictures are bursting with vibrant colours and lots of action which I'm sure will bring plenty of amusement and fun.

At the end of the book are more activities that challenge the reader to go back and dig deeper to discover even more.  At the bottom of each page is an illustrated list that points out which objects to find. Look and find books help kids expand their vocabularies and increase their ability to focus and observe the world around them.
