Hi everyone. It's a new week with new possibilities and new books! Hope everyone had a great weekend and glad you are here to check out Monday's book. First of all let me give you the first line of the children's book that I hope you can guess the title of and it's author:

This book is the sixth in a series. It centres around a fabulous boy named Jason whose passion for his favourite bird, the American Bald Eagle, has him observing it with both his binoculars and his camera incessantly. He lives on the shores of Long Island Sound, near the Connecticut River, so he is able to track this magnificent bird in it's natural habitat. He loves every aspect about it, especially how it turns its head to look at him as he pinpoints its every move. His loving family supports and encourages his curiosity. The book almost reads like a non-fiction and is full of interesting facts and information that your child can learn from or use as a resource if he/she is engaged in a project. Upon reading this book lots of conversation will be generated and I am sure your child will go back and again and again to re-read the book. The illustrations greatly enhance the storyline and the visuals give you more understanding of just what Jason is seeing as he observes this magnificent and regal bird in the wild.

About the author:
This is Dr. Julia E. Antoine's tenth children's book. She wrote her first book in 2010, to satisfy the need of her grandchildren, her Caribbean friends and their children; as well as, all the children of the world. She has said repeatedly, "this genre of writing allows me to return to my childhood to play." She hopes that by writing these stories, they will be used to impart some knowledge to both the children who read them and their parents. Every one of her children's book can be used in the classroom to promote dialogue and enhance learning.
