Integrity.  Is it becoming a lost art?  Are we installing this stellar characteristic into our children (and modelling it ourselves) to make the world a better place in which to live?

"Stand Tall" is a book about making the right choices, discerning right from wrong, making positive decisions, keeping your promises, and staying true to yourself.  That old saying about getting up and being able to look at yourself in the mirror certainly holds true here.  Kindness reigns in integrity and the ability to go beyond yourself and think of others. Being an honourable person comes with responsibility as the choice is yours whether to take it or not.  We need to teach this our children so they can be a positive influence on others around them and in their world.

The author has a series of character-development books, "Learning to Get Along" that address strong emotional skills to guide your child choices in life.  "Each of the first six books focuses on a specific attitude or character trait such as optimism, self-esteem, assertiveness, resilience, forgiveness and this book integrity.  Also included in the books are discussion questions, games, activities, and additional information for adults. Filled with diversity, these social story books will be welcome in school, home, and childcare settings."
