About the book...

This sweet Easter-themed book with two adorable little characters will give you a taste of the unconditional love between siblings.

Anna and her baby brother Luke start out their Easter morning getting up early, discovering their Easter baskets in the living room, then going about filling them with yummy chocolate eggs that the Easter bunny deposited here and there throughout their home and beyond.

They deplete the treasures inside the house so then they decide to go and explore for more outside in the garden.  Anna encounters a beautiful chocolate bunny and can't resist taking a little nibble off of one of his ears.  Luke sees the bunny too and decides to mimic his sister's actions and he chomps the bunny's other ear.  A loud SMACK BANG sound startles the little guy and he drops the bunny causing it to shatter into dozens of pieces. It lay lifeless and shattered now on the ground.  Oh my!

His sister screams and cries and is very upset over the accident.  She calls her mom to come out and tearfully tells her what has happened.  What can her mother do to rectify this horrible tragedy?  Can she find a solution that will calm and mend the hurt feelings of both her children?  Will the two little ones end up happy once again and peace and harmony reign in their home?  Mother's have a special way of taking that ouchie and making it all better once again.

This charming book with its vibrantly coloured illustrations would be a ideal Easter gift to give to your little one.  Of course as you share the story together you will have to gobble up the chocolate finds that the Easter bunny deposited everywhere around your home right?  Sounds like a perfect plan to me.
