Isadora Moon- Goes to the Ballet - a bookwrap

Unwrapping Isadora Moon

Isadora Moon is special because she’s different. Half vampire, half fairy, she’s totally unique!
Her mum is a fairy and her dad is a vampire and she is a bit of both. Isadora loves the night, bats, and her black tutu, but she also loves the sunshine, her magic wand, and Pink Rabbit. She is proud to be different, but with parents like hers, everyday activities don't always go to plan!

About the book

This book is the third installment in the "Isadora Moon" series and will be published simultaneously in hardcover and paperback on January 23, 2018.  It is an easy read chapter book full of magic and delightful supernatural  characters.

Isadora is such a lovable little character with her unconventional family and they are accepted by all.  She has an adorable little stuffed rabbit that her fairy mother brought to life with a swipe of her magic wand and the two are inseparable. They both love to hang out constantly and especially perform ballet shows.  They are very adept at performing quality stage productions and showing off their dancing talents to Isadora's parents and her baby sister Honeyblossom.

As luck would have it her teacher, Miss Cherry, has arranged a field trip with her entire class to see a performance of Alice in Wonderland starring her most favourite (and famous) prima ballerina, Tatiana Tutu.   Her  eccentric parents decide they need to get more involved with Isadora's school activities so they volunteer to chaperone the trip.  Whenever the two parents get involved things don't always go as planned as you can well imagine.

Everything does goes rather smoothly and the groups arrive unscathed at the theatre.  It is then that Isadora discovers that her beloved Pink Rabbit is no where to be found. He's missing!!!  Oh my!!!  She is very upset and off she goes to retrieve her coveted friend.  Can she locate her best buddy before the opening curtain ascends and the performance begins?   Poor Isadora just has to make that happen.

This book is quality through and through.  The storyline is engaging and the illustrations are full of imagination, expression, action and fun.  This book will delight kids who love fairies, vampires, magic and fantasy.  I highly, highly recommend it and all the other books in the series as well.  Kids will be enchanted I am sure.
