About the book
I loved this book with its whimsical illustrations of this classic children’s folk song. I think every child has had this song sung to them or can sing it themselves, so it truly is timeless. The musical recording is upbeat, toe-tapping and just begs you to sing along. Your kids will love the repetition of the phrase, "Pop goes the weasel." Both kids and adults will love the whole vibe of both the book and the recording. The song can be accessed for free on "The Secret Mountain" website and on most music streaming platforms. The combo of the book and the song is a winner indeed. Lyrics are found at the end of the book as well as interesting facts regarding its origin and the meaning of the phrase "pop goes the weasel." I was educated also by those interesting facts. Lovely add-on.
