Unwrapping the Book

"O Canada, my home and native land"... what a perfect country to celebrate and boast about to others.  Today's book is a wonderful example of how to do that very thing.  It is one book of the bestselling series "Good Night Our World" which includes hundreds of titles exploring iconic locations and exciting, child-friendly themes.

This book highlights the Canadian Rockies, Niagara Falls, Stanley Park in Vancouver, icebergs in Newfoundland, fishing boats, farms, wildlife, and our claim to fame... HOCKEY, just to name a few.

It is a perfect bedtime story with rich illustrations that guide kids from sea to shining sea ... through a single day and the four seasons.  The series is a wonderful way to teach children about other countries and a way to travel abroad while staying snuggled up in your own bed.

This book ( and the entire series ) would be a collection to have at home, in classrooms and in elementary school libraries.  I highly recommend this book.
