The Book

Children are made readers in the laps of their parentsMake reading a central part of your child's daily routine, and help them develop the skills necessary to process difficult situations while building their vocabulary overall intelligence. It's never too early to read to a child.  Some people read to their child while still in their womb."

It is an undisputed fact that when children are read to regularly at an early age they become confident, more intelligent, readers. Why is reading together outloud important for babies and young children? It helps your child get to know sounds, words and language, and develop early literacy skills.  They learn to value books and stories and it sparks your child's imagination and stimulates their curiosity. It helps your child's brain, social skills and their communication skills develop.  This book is a follow-up to "Read to Your Baby Every Day".  It is a wonderful anthology of tales ( folk, fairy, and fables)  collected from around the world to share with your little ones.

It is perfect for nap time, bedtime or anytime you need a story- break in your day and of course it is always delivered wrapped up in a loving cuddle. The illustrations ( which I wish there were much more of ) are embroidered on cloth, making the book unique and beautiful.  The selected short stories talk about compassion, friendship and the well-being of our world.  I encourage you to read to your children of all ages each and every day. Wonderful books will bind you together and bring great joy and fulfillment to both you the reader and to your child.
