The Book

This is a delightful oversized board book.  It includes the beloved character from the original story of "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry which is a children's classic.  Little ones can come to an understanding of their every day emotions as the book is shared and discussed with them.  Many times little ones find it difficult to express their feelings and find it hard to manage them.  

The author has included the emotions of joy, surprise, anger, love, fear, sadness, and calm.  She has highlighted four exercises at the end to help children process their feelings and emotions which will increase their self-awareness and confidence.  

The illustrations of course are epic and this book would be a wonderful asset to a teacher, psychologist and parent.  I highly endorse this book!

Meet the Author

Passionate about history and children's literature, Corinne Delporte spent her childhood with her nose in books. After obtaining a Master's degree in History and a second one in Communication, she leaves France to settle in Montreal, where she strengthens her love of books by becoming a children's book editor.
