I love this sweet tender book.  It is a perfect gift to give to a new mother.  It oozes with unconditional love between a mother and her child.  

A small boy dreams that he is a little tangerine.  No matter what challenges he faces in life he knows in his heart-of-hearts that he will grow tall and flourish. Why?  Because his beloved Mommy Tangerine will always be by his side every step of the way.  

Even as a grown up his mother will be there for support giving him a sense of confidence, safety and security.  Always! 

The endearing kid-friendly illustrations enrich the text and the book lends its self to a wonderful read aloud.  "My Little Tangerine" is a celebration of a special relationship  between a mom and her precious child.  I highly recommend this book!

Meet the Author/Illustrator

Award-winning author and illustrator M.T. Fon always had a great interest in illustration and arts but pursued a different career instead.

Since the birth of her son, she has been reading to him every night before bed. Seeing the wonderful illustrations when reading to her son fueled her desire to pick up a pencil again.

Her desire, combined with her inspiration from being a mother, resulted in her debut children’s picture book, My Little Tangerine.

Besides writing and illustrating, she enjoys long walks, running, and dressmaking.
