Summer events at the shop

Hello everyone - Happy Canada Day and welcome to summer with Baby Bookworms!!!

We are busy at the shop transitioning from a very busy wind-up or should I say (wind-down) of our very successful seminars . We completed PLASP, Hamilton, and Froeble workshops last week and were privileged to encourage and guide more groups of interested parents as they went about growing life-long, successful readers.

We will be hosting a brand new event at the shop this summer all through the months of July and August. We are going to gather on the front lawn of our shop and have a children's storytime. The event will be on Thursday nights beginning at 7:00 and it is a BYOB (blankie) event. Parents are welcome to stop by and pick up ice cream or coffee from other stores and then stop by for an intimate time of story readings, song, and fun delivered by both Jane and I. We have very special guests dropping by to read also. The whole storytime should be wrapped up by about 7:45 at the latest, so you can get home and tuck your little ones in at a decent time. Storytimes will occur only if weather is permitting.
If we find that there is an overwhelming response (which we are sure will happen) we may have to move to another larger location, like perhaps the park. So please come and visit with us. We are so excited about this and I know it will be a wonderful dimension to add to your valuable family time together. See you there! We're all about reading and family relationships here at Baby Bookworms.
