Back to school, signing up for new classes and courses, getting everyone settled for this season is very hectic and sometimes stressful. But we can assure you that if you have any time to be still, the best thing that you can do is find a great book and retreat with your child tucked under your arm and read to your "bunny". When you curl up with a book together both of you calm down and your blood pressure actually lowers. Take a Saturday trip to your local library, load up on wonderful adventure stories, stories to make you laugh and giggle, and of course, thought-provoking ones. Anytime is the right time to share quality time and bond together over a good book.

We are in the process of ordering our books for Christmas so start thinking ahead of giving the "gift of reading" to your children. Clothes wear out, toys become obsolete and broken, but a good book just keeps on giving. Be your child's best cheerleader when it comes to introducing great literature into their lives.
