Unwrapping some fabulous illustrations for you in no particular order...

About the book...

"Pip the Ostrich" is is based upon a true story.  It tells the tale of one lucky little girl who takes an ostrich egg home and it actually hatches for her.  A wonderful close friendship develops between the two and they become inseparable.  She names her ostrich pet Pip and together they experience many adventures of life.

"I love it when she falls asleep in my arms."

"When I take her to school for show and tell, everyone is amazed!"

"She likes to wade in the pool and sip Shirley Temples with me."

"She likes to use glittery colours when she paints."

"She flies to Hawaii with us for vacation." ...  just to name a few.

Pip decides Hawaii would be a perfect place to retire and happily runs off with a flock of her peers to start even more adventures solo with a promise of her adoring owner's return soon.

This heartwarming book is full of fun escapades and activities.  The illustrations are just beautiful.  Emily's debut book is sure to delight  and have you turning the pages to find out what the duo is up to next.  The end of the book gives the reader "Fun Facts About Ostriches", a wonderful addition to an already informative story.  I know you will smile and even giggle when you read through it.

Storywraps rating:  5 hugs!!!!!
