About the book
This is the second volume of the "Game for Adventures" series of wordless graphic novels for early readers. The book by two-time Eisner nominee Lee Nordling and artist Scott Rogers renders a winning combination of action and fun as a gymnasium is transformed into a colourful obstacle course sprinkled with magic.
The strong characters and storyline is up to the reader to write in their imaginations so it will be unique to each person. The colour pallet depicts a fantasy background letting the reader know that the kids have left the realistic gym and it's game on.
Belinda is gung-ho to go and her best friend, Barbara is shy and retiring. They proceed to the gym where the teacher switches on music and all the kids partake in the fun exercise of musical chairs. Will their friendship last through the running of this difficult and very competitive obstacle course? Find out what is more important to the girls... their friendship or winning the race.
Storywraps Rating.... 5 HUGS!!!!!
