The Book

To dream the impossible dream...is it really possible to achieve with your imagination ignited and the sky ( not ) being the limit?  An adorable little boy wants to climb up on a giraffe so he can see the world from up high leaving all the do and don't rules set before him behind.

This adventure story propels readers into scenarios that break the rules that adults set. Kids are invited to join a creative little boy who wants to: dance with a peacock who can teach him how to fly, eat all his vegetables for his long journey of adventure ahead of him, and dig for lost treasure only to find a slimy slug he'll name Geronimo, just to name a few.

He concludes that rules are good ... but adventure is too!  Kids will relate to those feelings of wanting to grow up, spread their wings and explore the world around them.  Freedom builds courage, problem solving skills, and a pathway to follow your heart's desires.

The bright colourful illustrations bring the text alive and are kid-friendly and delightful.  The book encourages kids to follow their dreams no matter where they may lead.  The simple language is a wonderful starter book for beginning readers to read solo. This is a wonderful life lesson to learn for both the young and the old.   I recommend this book.
