The Book

It is a hot, dry summer and the bees are struggling to find enough flowers and water so they can gather nectar and pollen to make their honey.  The bees are in need of both food and water to complete their mission everyday and a summer drought is making their tasks almost impossible to achieve.  Oh my!

Camilla, an avid cartographer, and her best friend Parsley help the bees out.  Can Camilla use her mapping skills and her forest friends to help the bees find a solution to their problem?

This is a companion book to "Camilla, Cartographer".  "Camilla, Super Helper" shines a light on bee conservation, spacial thinking and map reading.  It highlights teamwork, community, and especially friendships.

The illustrations are detailed and engaging.  The book is not only entertaining but also educational.  Camilla does discover her superpower.  She finds out that she is a skilled map-maker and very caring towards her friends.  What is your superpower?

I love the inclusive, heartwarming message of the book and I highly recommend it.
