The Book
The reader is invited to visit 15 schools from around the world and have a peek at how their educational system works.
Kids do attend school all round the world and many types of schools exist. Interesting information on schools located in: Bangladesh, Japan, Finland, the Himalayas, a refugee camp, England, Uganda, in a hospital, Buddhist monastic, Sports, Muslim girl's school, Ballet, Australian 'School of the Air', rainforest, and Montessori school is presented.
The book is educational and even surprising at times. Each chapter has stationed a local child guide and narrator to describe what their specific school is like making the book relatable and friendly to the reader.
This delightful book is a celebration of education and I highly recommend it!
