About the book

What's better than hanging out with your friends?  Why hanging out with your mommy right?

This delightful tale is told through the eyes of a little girl who has a very strong bond of love for her amazing mommy.  She is excited to share her feelings to her readers.

Her mommy, although not perfect, spends quality time with her daughter and they have such fun adventures together.   Even though both have busy days they find time to shop for clothes and groceries, play dress-up, relax and read their favourite book, enjoy the rain showers sans an umbrella,  muck around in mommy's makeup, play games at the park and enjoy creative activities such as painting together, just to name a few.

The book is a celebration of their time spent together.  The little girl is aware of her mother's imperfections and laying those aside she still desires to be a mommy-clone when she grows up.  Now that's quite a compliment isn't it?

Having had a wonderful relationship with my own mom I could certainly agree with the little girl.  Mom's everywhere should be held up in very high esteem and emulated as the torch of motherhood is passed on.

The illustrations are vibrant, colourful, full of action and emotion. They are kid-friendly and enrich the text greatly.  The author has added an interactive section at the end of the book that kids will love.

Part of the "Hooray for Family" series, this book was originally published in Italy. Featuring charming insights about Mommies, Daddies, Grandmas and Grandpas, each of the "Hooray for Family" books celebrates families in a delightful way.  Highly recommended for very young readers by Storywraps.
