No I am not tricking you the second half of the book needs you to turn the book upside down to enjoy....

 Unwrapping the story

This sweet "Flippable Book" is really two books in one and is a wonderful introduction to the seasons.  It can be read forward, backward and upside down.  How fun is that?  It was created by award-winning graphic designer Dale Nigel Goble with text provided by communication expert Kate Colley.  It is a companion to "Winter Days Spring Days".

With bright colours,  happy scenarios and rhyming verse it is sure to be a hit with wee ones.  Mirroring what the kids in the book are doing... eating ice cream, chasing butterflies, sipping a cool glass of lemonade, jumping in a pile of leaves, splashing in a puddle and letting your hair blow freely in the wind would be great activities to participate in.

The format will engage and entertain making this a fun book to read again and again.  I recommend this book.

About the illustrator

Dale Nigel Goble was born in Edmonton, Alberta in the Spring of 1972 and has loved drawing and painting since a very young age. With a continuing drive and passion to excel in commercial and fine art, Dale has always found himself with a deep desire to prosper with his own creative vision allowing himself greater room for creative self expression.

After winning the prestigious Bank of America Achievement Award for excellence in Art and Design at the young age of 18, and a fortunate lunch with the late Henry Geldzahler arranged by friends Gordon Johnston and Raine Dowell , Goble was more and more convinced that a successful life in art was very much a possibility and set out to develop and refine his talent.

dng's personal style is emerging through the desire to find and create beauty and meaning in the commonplace, in the single object and symbolic storytelling, creating a majority of the works combining traditional mediums with new production methods.
