This beautifully illustrated book gives fresh and meaningful ways that each child — and adult — can make our world a happier place and prove that KINDNESS MATTERS!” — Jill McManigal, cofounder & executive director, Kids for Peace and The Great Kindness Challenge

“Naomi Shulman writes from her heart, spreading the ethos that kindness is a choice we must make every day, in every relationship and action, if we wish to live in a just, gentle, and compassionate world.” — Jessica Lahey, teacher and New York Times best-selling author of The Gift of Failure

Unwrapping the book

This delightful book is a keeper.  I suggest one in every home, classroom and library (whether public or school ).  What the world needs now is a fresh sprinkling of magic dust to make kindness reign!

Each page is bright, vibrant and kid-friendly with simple text that encourage kids (and adults) to be ambassadors of KINDNESS!  125 suggestions are there at your fingertips to start implementing... acts of selflessness, engagement and reaching out to others to make their day better and happier.  Some are easy like smiling at someone, complimenting them, saying good morning first,  and others take more effort such as sticking up for someone who is being bullied, eating with the new kid at the lunchroom table, planting bird-friendly plants like sunflowers, hosting a movie night complete with popcorn for your friends, reading to someone who hasn't learned how to yet and offering to help classmates if they are struggling with math or other subjects, just to name a few.

If everyone chooses kindness, and it is a choice, the world will be a much happier place for us all.  "If you can be anything, be kind."
