The Book

This delightful book will be a HUGE hit with kids.  It is for fans of "Everyone Poops" and it won't disappoint.

A Daddy rat decides one day to take his baby rats to the zoo and prohibits them to think or talk about poo.  Of course that is almost impossible because before they even depart on their adventure they wonder what sort of poo an astronaut would do... perhaps shiny, silver, futuristic poo? Oh my, they seem to be obsessed with the stinky subject.

On their travels the little rats imagine how a tiny French poodle and her master might poo.  They also ponder the poo from a head chef, a balloon seller, a man with a tattoo, an ice cream scooper and a variety of animals living at the zoo.  Their imaginative speculations are hysterical and very creative.  Finally Daddy has reached the end of his rope with this unending parade of poo talk and he takes his little ones to meet the Pookeeper.  Daddy rat explains to his pups how the poo is used to help make the trees grow and the fruits and flowers too.  Daddy hopes this is the end of their poo fixation but there is one more smelly surprise to contend with at the very end of the book that kids will love.

Kids will laugh at loud as Daddy rat ends the tale with two words.... "OH POO!"  Whatever could have happened to make him utter those words!

The illustrations are extremely well done and they go perfectly with the text.  Kids love anything to do with gross body functions and they will ask for the book to be read again and again.  I highly recommend it.
