The Book

Here is a story that everyone should know.

It's the tale of a princess named Shiloh.

She lived in a kingdom, not far from yours,

in a grand house with a swimming pool and fourteen floors.

I know that sounds too big but here's the thing:

her mother and father were the Queen and King.

Being a princess is a tough job for someone so small.

It's even harder when you've a problem you can't solve at all.

You see, every princess in the kingdom could sing.

Yet Shiloh's voice could do no such thing . . .

Shiloh is an adorable little princess who hasn't found her voice.  Her problem?  Every other princess in the kingdom could sing but not Shiloh.  She explored all options to make that happen but to no avail.  Then one day when coming back from class she heard visiting princes beating on their hands and chest and making a sound that was true music to her ears.... they were rapping!

Right then and there Shiloh found her voice.  She joined the princes and showed her true colours.  She definitely was a rapper at heart.  But would the others in the kingdom accept her new found talent?

This delightful book is about exploring and discovering your own unique talents, embracing your differences and then celebrating them!  The illustrations are colourful, expressive and detailed.  This rhyming book will be a hit with hip-hop fans and may even encourage some to try to rap on their own.  I love the energetic vibe of the book and I highly recommend it.
