Editorial Reviews

I actually got a second opinion on this book. I read it to my four year old niece and apparently I was reading it far too early she had halloween first.

She smiled a lot. Pointed a lot. It is a really cute book about snowmen and snow. It's very short. I'd have liked it to be a little longer.

I received an advance copy of, Secrets of the Season: Snowman's Adventure, by Jennie Bradley. Is a cute very short story, of snow and a snowman.

This book was cute but wasn't that engaging for me. I didn't like the rhyming scheme and it felt like a book I wouldn't want to read to my kids. There are definitely better books out there. It's a good read if you just want a book to share, but it didn't stand out to me. The story was okay.

The Book

This short rhyming book engages little ones in a magical winter adventure.  The book is interactive and presented in a die-cut board book format... perfect for little hands to manipulate and enjoy.

When wee ones turn a page another accessory related to the snowman disappears until ta da....Mr. Snowman is revealed.   He leaves a lovely white fluffy gift for the diverse group of children to play with.  Can you guess what that special gift might be?

The illustrations are colourful and sweet.  The book is extremely short and I wish it had been longer.  The author invites readers to join Snowman on a layer-by-layer wintertime journey that I'm sure they will love.
