If you haven't stopped by and said hi lately please do so before the summer slips away from us. There are many tourists in Streetsville these days and it is nice when they drop in and browse and buy from us.
The storytime stops have been an overwhelming success and each week we plan to make it a very special event for families in the area. This week's theme will be at the beach. We have well known author and illustrator Frances Tyrrell coming to be with us and reading her book "At the Beach." Please put aside precious time to come and hear her read and meet her in person.
As always check the weather and if it is sunny and promising we will indeed be holding our story time. Bring a friend or neighbour and introduce them to this special time together. Make sure all the campers from Camp Read-a-Lot are reading voraciously and recording their books. Remember you can win a prize if your name is drawn at the storytime. Happy reading ,
See you Thursday at 7:00 at the shop. Wear your bathing suit and bring a beach towel to sit on. Get into the theme and have lots of fun!
