Make a summer reading list
Record all the books and magazines that you have read this summer. Jan Robinson, literary expert, says reading 4-5 complete books in the summer is the equivalent of sending your child to summer school. Books means spending quality time with your kids, physical touch, wonderful conversations and sharing. Do not underestimate the power of reading together. Books, people, sharing, bonding, loving, laughing, affirming....all these benefits for taking time out of your busy schedule to read together. Go ahead, take the plunge, not into your pool, but into a good book! Splash!!!!
