fall is quickly approaching,,,

there is a chill in the weather and my thoughts turn to new books to read and the places I will stash them. I must admit that I am a hopeless teacher -always on the lookout for the next great book, or a great newspaper or magazine article that I can share with my kids. reading is everywhere and whether it is reading the side of a Starbucks cup, scanning a luncheon menu or putting together your favorite recipe...all is reading. read your world with your kids for a day. focus on signs and posters and maps. words and literature surround us everywhere. open your eyes and mind to the literature of our world. it is extremely fun and educational!
