Editorial reviews...

"What a sweet and snuggly book! Join Midge and her best friend Moo in their daytime adventures. It's so wonderful to have a comforting book on my phone's Kindle App that we can use to cuddle and connect wherever we go."

"A day with Moo, is the first book of the Adventures of Midge and Moo series that now includes 5 books, including a new Christmas book."

"The story is about the loving relationship between a little girl named Midge and her stuffed cow doll Moo.....Where ever Midge goes Moo follows during playtime, eating and sleepy time......Pure love.

About the book...

Adorable little Midge is in love.  She's been in love since she was brought home from the hospital when she was two days old with her stuffed cow-friend Moo by her side.  They do everything together. They are inseparable.

When Midge builds a tower...guess who knocks it down?
When Midge plays doctor...guess who is her only patient?
When Midge turns into a grimy mud-monster and needs to be sanitized...guess who needs a spin in the washer too?
And don't get me started on who eats the dreaded peas at dinner time... mmmmm...  Who could that be? Can you guess?

The best friends forever get ready for bed and Midge affirms her love and devotion to Moo and whispers in his ear:

"I love you Moo.
Tomorrow it will be my turn to eat all the peas."  Best friends always help each other out at times like that right? They take one for the team even if it's only a team of two.

The illustrations are crisp, uncluttered, playful and simply delightful.  Snuggled up with this book will give opportunity to talk about objects in your children's lives (and maybe yours too) that bring comfort, safety and security, all very good things to have.  I highly recommend this book and look forward to more in the series.

About the author...

That's me in the middle. I grew up with parents and sisters who believed snuggling and laughing were a part of reading picture books.

That probably explains my love and enthusiasm for writing and illustrating stories for kids!

Stories are fun, but it's more than that...each book a child reads is a doorway into understanding more about herself and more about the world she lives in.

I want to create those doorways--to laughter, to learning, to imagined worlds, and most importantly... to connecting with each other.

Here I am now....I kind of grew up!  :-)
