About the book

This book is part of the "Read and Discover Science" series which is an early non-fiction introduction to science at low reading levels. The author uses familiar concepts to highlight what happens in the sky.

She covers the sun, clouds, moon, and stars and includes birds, planes and even a balloon just to name a few.  The sentences are simple and the photographs are colourful, crisp and a delight to observe .

The Beginning-to-read book contains high-frequency words and content vocabulary.  The author wisely includes science and reading activities, a note to caregivers, and a useful word list.  This will be a wonderful book to include in a classroom or an elementary school library.  Recommended by Storywraps.
