Unwrapping the book

This simple sweet book is written in rhyme and oozes happiness and wonder as kids observe the passing of time and the changing seasons around them.   Happy faces grace each page as kids celebrate together the gift of a beautiful clear sky, a gentle puddle-jumping rainstorm, a playful snowstorm, a mysterious foggy eve, a portrait-perfect sunset and an awesome stargazing night.  They discover that God is the creator of this wonderment and he is the master artist.

The happy illustrations enrich the text and bring it to life.  They are vibrant, colourful and very kid-friendly which draws kids into each  scenario.  This book is perfect to incorporate into Christian education units on weather, seasons, or the changing times of day.  The book is a great catalyst for conversations about nature and how God orchestrates the world around us.  I highly recommend this book.

Introducing the author

Katrina Streza lives on a small ranch in Southern California with her family, twelve chickens, two cats, two dogs, one horse and one very noisy dove.

While receiving her Master's Degree in Education at Pepperdine University, Katrina decided that her goal was to make class so fun her students wouldn't realize they were learning. She's applied that philosophy while teaching and tutoring kids from kindergarten to college.

When she's not writing or teaching, Katrina sings in the choir at her church.
