Unwrapping the Story

This is a delightful story about a parent cat who tries to suggest different way that its bored kitten can entertain itself.

The parent suggests that maybe a nap might ease the boredom.  The idea is quickly refuted by the kitten... nope, not tired.  Why don't you eat? asks the cat.  Negative reply... I'm not hungry.  When asked by the youngster if the elder ever gets bored the answer is a simple... no.  I wonder why?  What meaningful strategies can the older cat impart to its kitten that will result in a valuable life lesson.  The answer is obvious and simple allowing the book to relate a profound and inspiring message to all who reads it no matter what their age may be.

The illustrations are large, expressive and unique.  The story is a wonderful addition to the New Classic Books Collection.  I recommend this book.
