Unwrapping Some Illustrations for You

The Book

"Fall is coming, it's time to get ready!'

The squirrel family resides high up in an old oak tree.  Little squirrel adores playing and chasing his friends from branch to branch but he is about to learn a very valuable life lesson.  Play time is loads of fun but sometimes you have to stop your frivolity and dwell on more serious things in life.  Winter is fast approaching and he must help his family gather food so they can survive the harsh season that is closing in on them.  He learns the value of being a contributor to his family's needs and that even though he is young he has responsibilities too.

The illustrations in this board book are well done and little Squirrel is an adorable character.  It is lovely to know that it was printed in Germany on 100% recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.  It is part of the All Natural series that features a variety of young animals and how they live.  I recommend this book.
