 The Book

Oh boy, putting a toddler to bed can be quite a feat especially if they don't want to go.  Award-winning author Deborah Kerbel and talented illustrator Jacqui Lee created a fun board book that will delight readers no matter what their age.

This book highlights delightful sounds that embrace the theme of bedtime routine perfectly.  Do any of these words ring true to the bedtime ritual that perhaps you can recognize from your own experience of putting your little one to sleep?:  howl, moan, stomp, gargle, spit, hugs, puff, tinkle, flush, whoop wheeee and shhhh hush, just to cite a few.  I bet you can relate right?

The illustrations are wonderful and so spot on for that age group.  May "Shhh, it's bedtime! It's time to quiet down." be the magic words that encourage and enable your little one to finally get into bed and get to sleep.  I highly recommend this book.  I'm sure kids ( and adults too )  will love it.
