The Book

What a sweet board book.  Little ones can choose what to feed each pop-up animal (a v-fold pop-up) from a variety of snacks that are dangling down from the spine on the outside of the book.  Each of the baby animals emerge with their mouths wide open ready for a tasty morsel.

The reader must make a choice as to which snack goes into the right mouth making this book unique, interactive and loads of fun.

It is part of a series that encourages young ones to problem solve and converse with a parent or carer so the proper food arrives inside the correct animal's tummy.  The book also allows a young child to practice playful hand-eye coordination. The food choices can be either the exact food the pet would eat or a silly choice which would offer inappropriate foods to each character resulting in lots of giggles and merriment.

The animal characters are adorable, colourful and very kid-friendly.  The text is short and simple.  I'm sure this board book will be revisited time and time again and each time will bring a smile to a toddler's face.
