The Book

Sarah and her mother are preparing for Christmas.  Sarah has already made a list of five things to ask Santa but refuses to share that precious list with anyone... not even her close friends. It's for Santa's ears only.  

She is anxious to tell Santa her wishes but unfortunately he is nowhere around!  Oh my!  Her mother assures her daughter that indeed he will be coming and she will have to be patient until his arrival. 

Sarah plays with her friends, drinks hot chocolate and listens to Christmas music while she waits.  At long last Christmas Day arrives and Sarah gets the best present ever! 

 Happily the reader gets a chance to see Sarah's wish list. She reveals that the best Christmas gifts don't have to cost one single penny.  Being with family, friends and enjoying the holiday spirit is priceless!  

The illustrations are beautifully done and the message embedded within is an important one for both young and old.  I highly recommend this heartwarming, sweet book!

Omotayo Madojutimi is a Nigerian-American author and poet who is devoted to making an impact through her writing. Omotayo strives to share her wisdom with adventurous readers in hopes of making their day a little brighter.

Omotayo was born in Lanham, Maryland, where she was mainly raised until she and her family relocated to Houston, TX. Omotayo attended Kempner high school, where she would perform her poetry for several teachers and staff and later received her Master’s in Social Work graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington.
