Question?

If you were to be shipwrecked on an island for an undisclosed period of time which three books would you like to have with you? Think about it and let me know. I can't imagine not being able to buy an up-dated newspaper or magazine or wander the aisles of a fantastic book store or library and freely chose a good book that I am drawn to. We are so blessed to have access to good reading literature. It is all around us. We are so privileged to be able to read and comprehend the massive variety of books that are available to us out there. Each person is born with the desire to read. My heart breaks when people are unable to pick up a good book and get lost in its pages. We must work hard to see that everyone has that opportunity and then that they have stacks of books available to them to read. I think it is almost sinful when someone can read and choses not to...thinking of all those who would dearly love to decipher those squiggles on the page and are not taught to do the very thing that their heart desires. Read to someone today....even if it is to yourself.
