A series you should check out....really

Title: First Book of Sushi
Author: Amy Sanger
Format: Board Book
Ages: 3 months - 6 to 7 years (recommended by me)

If your family gets excited about food and loves to experiment with new tastes and textures then this series is for you! First Book of Sushi educates with playful rhymes and lush collages of patterns. Textured mixed-media collages bring food to life. One teacher even used this in her classroom as a textbook to teach Japanese culture, concepts, and language to her students. Check out the back cover as the last line of the book is on there – clever, but could also be a bit confusing. Other books in this series are: Hola Jalapeno, Let’s Nosh, Chaat and Sweets, Mangia Mangia, Yum Yum Dim Sum, and a Little Bit of Soul. Another great feature: oftentimes there are pronunciation guides and meanings of words on the back of the books to help the adults with their education. Get your own and then buy extra copies to give as gifts to friends, even babies as early as three months are mesmerized by these tasty little books.
