While I was cuddling my new little grandson yesterday I couldn't help but be amazed at the little bundle before me. Here he is a compacted little man and oh the possibilities that I hold in arms. I then remembered this book that had come across my path written by Jenny Lee Sulpizio and Peg Lozier entitled, "There is Just Something About a Boy." This book celebrates the life of your little boy starting at your first peek at him in your ultrasound right on through his school years and beyond. It also reminded me of the words in that song that said, "Turn around and your three, turn around and your four, Turn around and your a young man going out of the door." Kids grow so up so fast and are amazing little creatures that steal away your hearts. Jenny spiritually connects to her books and it is very evident that she loves her kids dearly. The beautiful watercolour illustrations compliment the the easy reading of the book. In her first book, "Mommy Whispers" she writes of a mother's love for her daughter and documents life adventures from birth to her daughter's wedding day. It too is a winner.
