"Hilda must be dancing!"
Hilda Hippo loves to dance! But there's just one problem. When Hilda dances, it sounds like this:
Ka-bump! Ka-bump!
Crash! Crash! Crash!
Thumpity-bump!
Thumpity-bump!
Boom!
Bang!
Bash!
The other animals beg her to find a quieter hobby. Knitting? Singing?
For Hilda, nothing else will do. What could possible be as fun as dancing?

This book is just what the doctor ordered for this time of year.  When the countdown is on for your kids to explode out of the classroom have them jump into some book dancing shoes to keep the reading rhythm going.  This book is amazing.  The text has a beat and the illustrations are glorious.  Get a copy to read aloud together and then everyone up off the couch or bed or floor and boogie.  Make reading a fun adventure this summer.  Create inspiring and imaginative ways to boost that interest level in the written word.  Stop often this summer and read.  Your kids will benefit from the effort you put into it and so will you.  Dance your way through a huge pile of books and smile as your feet climb up and into the next storybook.

Read on I dare you!
