Peeking inside is always fun:
My take on the book:
Most kids are infatuated with the idea of a tooth fairy who comes to them in the wee hours of the night and exchanges their missing tooth for money. They all want to know if she is real, what does she do with that missing tooth and of course the big question...what is that tooth worth. This darling book will give you some insight into the life of a tooth fairy on her off hours.
Bella is a stunning little beauty with perfect .... everything. Her smile is perfect, her body shape is perfect, her attire and hair impeccable. She has one other winning quality....she is full of kindness. She wants so badly to win the Miss Tooth Fairy Smile Contest that is being held on Cloud Nine. All her tooth fairy friends think that she will indeed win and then the unthinkable happens.
Zelda, the meanest of the tooth fairies, sprinkles Bella with Wing Stop Powder as she flies by causing Bella's wings to freeze and she flies right into a wall. The impact of the accident forces Bella's front tooth to fly out and it is scooped up by Zelda and hidden away.
When Bella discovers her beloved tooth gone she is heartbroken and concludes she will never win the contest in her toothless condition. Suddenly Bella has a great idea that just might solve her problem. Determined to repair the damage and still be eligible to win she hurriedly gets to work. Her efforts prove futile and she returns back to the contest sad and defeated. While she is so downcast and crying she discovers Zelda crying too. Kind Bella's instincts kick in and she goes to comfort her. Forever mean Zelda reveals that she is the despicable villain who destroyed Bella's chances to be the Queen of Smile.
Bella, although devastated at her own demise is undaunted and still reaches out to hug Zelda even tighter thus changing her outside and inside forever. Both toothfairies discover that beauty is only skin deep and to be truly beautiful you have to exhibit both of those traits, outward AND inward beauty....and the beauty is?....they both did!
