Unwrapping some amazing illustrations for you to enjoy...

About the book...

Wanda, the adorable little main character, with powder-puff ponytails springing out of the top of her head, has been studying her Grandpa for some time now. He's not your average Grandpa you see.  She has made up her mind that he actually is a dinosaur.  He's so tall, and green, and he roars (not snores) when he's awake, and the pièce de résistance... HE HAS A TAIL.   Oh my!

She tries to point these features out to her family and friends but to her utter amazement they don't believe her. How absurd to think Grandpa is a a terrestrial reptile of the Mesozoic era.  Preposterous!

Wanda will not accept their excuses as to why Grandpa is just....well? Grandpa.  She takes it upon herself to find out the truth of the matter.  One day when she has him all to herself, on a coveted "Grandpa and Wanda Day",  she flat out asks him:

"Grandpa...
Are you a dinosaur?'

Grandpa looks at her and with a wink replies:

"I was starting to think no one had noticed."

At the end of their special day together when her Grandpa takes her back to his retirement home... a great surprise awaits Wanda.  Can you guess what it might be? Wanda's eyes are open wide and the truth is ... wait! No spoilers here.  Get this gem and read it for yourself.  You will be glad you did, I'm sure of it!

The illustrations are caricature-like and the young audience will be so happy that they can see that Grandpa is a dinosaur along with Wanda, while the other characters in the book seem oblivious to that fact.  Pure fun!
