"Do Princesses and Super Heroes Hit the Trails?"
Authored by Carmela La Vigna and Illustrated by Mike Gordon
Ages: 3-7
About the book...
This gem of a book is written in rhyme. The family decides to go exploring in the National Parks across the U.S.A. They pack their car to the max and the adventures begin.
"What can we do for an epic FUN day?
These National Parks seem like a good place to play.
Do you think we can get to every last park?
Somehow I doubt we'll be back before dark."
You, the reader, are invited to participate in their wanderlust as our favourite princess and her superhero brother learn about the "awesomeness" of nature and surviving in the great outdoors.
The illustrations are cartoon-like, expressive and full of action. Join in on the fun as the family visits twelve different parks such as Glacier, Yellowstone, Denali and Yosemite, just to name a few. This book may inspire you to go on a similar adventure with your family or to dig deeper and learn more about these nature-filled parks. The back of the book lists them all and includes a special fact about each.
Not only is this book fun to read it is educational. Get your maps out, be sure the car is gassed up and away you go................!!!
