About the book...

Adorable Patches is a very selective caterpillar.  She loves choosing the right pair of shoes for every occasion.  She needs multiple pairs of each style because unlike a human who has two feet, lucky Patches has six feet!  Fortunate her indeed!!!!

She has yellow sneakers for running, pink ballet shoes to twirl and spin in as she wears her fancy tutu, comfy flip flops so her feet can breathe as she strolls around her neighbourhood, red rain boots to splash in puddles, and hiking books to wear when she goes exploring, just to name a few.  Her most favourite of all?  Her  white fluffy slippers because they are so cozy and soft on her feet at the end of her busy day.

One morning she just can't make up her mind which shoes to wear so clever little Patches makes an executive decision and wears a different one on each foot!  How fun and creative is that?  There - problem solved!  Her active six feet do it all throughout her day utilizing every style.  Exhausted, Patches collapses into her bed with a very contented and happy smile on her face and falls fast asleep.

This charming tale is written in rhyme and the illustrations are colourful, expressive and endearing.  The end of the book features "Caterpillar Facts" so kids can learn more about this fascinating little critter.

Storywraps rating... 4+ HUGS! !!!!+

About the author...

Angela was born in California to a military family. This meant that she got used to being the "new kid" in school every couple of years. It was hard trying to make new friends, but Angela discovered she had a knack for writing. In high school Angela began writing poetry and song lyrics. Expressing herself through writing seemed very natural. After becoming a Mom in 2003, Angela continued her storytelling to her own children. In 2009 she wrote and published her first rhyming children's book aimed at toddlers. Since then she has released several more children's picture books and released her first young adult romance series, The Alpha Girls.

Angela's husband, Ben Muse writes suspense/thriller books that can also be found on Amazon.
