About the book

A little girl cannot understand for the life of her how a strange dog got into the house and is now in the middle of the dining room table for heaven's sake.  Oh my... how did he get in?  Did someone leave the door open? Did someone invite him in?  What is she to do with him now?

This rhyming book is full of imagination casting as the little girl envisions different reasons what that canine may be up to.

The illustrations greatly enhance the story and there is a wonderful twist at the end to let the reader know exactly what that dog is doing on the dining room table.

Kids will smile at the ending and ask for the story one more time.

Storywraps rating -  4 HUGS!!!!

About the author

I was born and raised in western New York State; in fact, my husband and I still live here and raised our family here. I earned a political science degree from the State University of New York, Empire State College, and worked in the legal profession for over twenty years before deciding to switch gears and pursue a writing career. During that time, my husband and I opened up our hearts and our home to numerous mischievous rescue cats and three lovable rescue dogs. At the same time I began my writing career my kids started families of their own, and I saw an opportunity to introduce my grandchildren and other young, emerging readers to the wonderful world of animals and encourage a love of reading by creating animal-themed stories for them to enjoy. My first picture book, There's a Dog On The Dining Room Table, has been published and is now available on Amazon. My second picture book, If a Dog Could Wear a Hat, is scheduled for publication in early 2018. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, reading, photography, cuddling with my cats and dogs, and learning North American fiddle music.
