About the book

This sweet book features a menagerie of critters busy constructing a fine new home for their dear friend mouse.  They design, dig, and designate different aspects of the building project to those with the skills to get the job done perfectly.

Eight crabs pour slabs,  seven owls use trowels, five snails drive nails, three foxes move boxes and two bees cut keys, just to name a few.  As you probably already guessed this fun counting book is written in rhyme

Kids will love the board book format and the hustle and bustle of the team as they generously give of their time and talent to bless their friend.  The animal workers are focused and expertly get the job accomplished. Ta! Da!

The author adds an unexpected surprise at the end of the book...

"Psst.. did you find the heart hidden on each page?"  💜

This announcement sends the kids back to page one to browse through the book once again making the book interactive as well.

The illustrations are adorable pulling the wee reader into the action.  I am positive that this book will be a winner and Storywraps gives it her full endorsement.

Storywraps Rating - 5 HUGS!!!!!
