About the book

This book has simple text and the photos are crisp and beautifully portrayed.  Kids will be amazed to discover a variety of animals that live in nests in this Discover Reader Beginning Reader.

The author not only includes birds in her book but other types of animals as well making it a more rounded experience of nest-builders and dwellers.  Birds, snakes, alligators, squirrels, wasps, rabbits and termites are just a selected few that are highlighted.

This series offers informative nonfiction for beginning readers and I highly recommend this book.  Not only is it suitable for home-sharing but would be a wonderful asset to a classroom or a school library.
