Unwrapping some sweet illustration for you

Unwrapping the story

Every story in the "Bright Start" series develops and nurtures a child's emotional intelligence.

A toddler and her mom take their adorable dog Duke for a walk and experience many instances in their familiar world where gratefulness is implemented.  Birds at a feeder are chirping, saying thank you for their seeds, a horse receives a carrot as a treat and responds with gratitude ( just to cite a few ), and the story culminates in a family group hug each thanking the other for such a pleasant walk and for the quality time they spent together.

The illustrations are simple, expressive and calming.  "A Thank You Walk" is a wonderful introduction to a discussion on expressing feelings and the importance of using manners in every day situations.

Saying thank you when someone does something special nice for you help you develop strong, healthy relationships.  I really enjoyed the book and certainly would recommend it.
