Unwrapping Some Wonderful Illustrations for You

Unveiling the Story

I am so pleased with the quality of this sweet durable board book.  This is a perfect bedtime story.  All children must go to bed and get some rest so it's fun to see how their favourite animal friends do just that.

The illustrations are adorable, large, and colourful and spot on for the targeted age group.  Kids will love learning fun facts that will keep them engaged right to the very last page.  No only is the book  entertaining it is also factual.

"Did you know that sea otters sleep holding hands?  Baby dolphins stay awake for a whole month?  Puppies snuggle together in a heap called a dog pile?"  Just to cite a few.

The author then makes bedtime preparation personal and compares the animal rituals to your child's bedtime routine.  Animal Families encourage developmental learning through its informative text which is enriched by heartwarming illustrations.  Children are invited to make contrasts and compare their experiences at bedtime with those carried out in the lives of these animals.  As the book is shared "they will be enriched by a respect and a sense of belonging to the natural world. "

"Bedtime" and the other books in the series should be included in classrooms and libraries ( both school and public).  I highly, highly recommend it and of course all the others too. They are top-notch.

Other books to add to your collection are:

All are excellent and the three bundled together with a bow on top would make a wonderful gift for any occasion.  Wee ones will love them!

I put hours of work finding the best kid's books to review for you each day.  If you enjoy visiting Storywraps and would like to donate something for my time and effort I would greatly appreciate it.

Go to the top of my blog at the right hand corner (below my photo) and please donate what you feel lead to give.  The amount you donate and the frequency you donate is totally up to you.

I also have added a new button...  ko-fi.com.  Simply buy me a cup of coffee if you would rather.  That would be fun.  Coffee and blogging go together like two peas in a pod as I'm always brewing up something here on Storywraps.
