Unwrapping Some Gorgeous Illustrations for You

The Book

Abhi, a young princess, has seven sisters who are all similar.  They stand tall and proper while she runs wild and small.  She is a little girl with a free spirit and dares to be different.  Her mother tries to encourage her to slow down and dress up like royalty should but Abhi loves adventure and pushing the envelope on her activities and dress attire.

Her sisters scare her and dare her to do outrageous things which of course she accepts to do.

"One day in our village, they dare me with glee. "Cross into the jungle, go deep through the trees.  Don't come out till we tell you, or you're weak in the knees."

Of course Abhi is delighted to take on the challenge and when she is in the jungle she meets up with a talking tiger named Tanzeer.  Even though the two are very different a bond is formed and they become very good friends.

The book, written in rhyme, has an inspiring positive message.  It empowers girls to be themselves and to celebrate who they are created to be.  The illustrations are beautifully done.  They are colourful, full of detail and action which greatly enrich the story.  I recommend this book.
