Unwrapping Some Illustrations for You

The Book

What a delightful book.  What a great gift this would be to give.  It is a celebration of things cherished in family life.... togetherness, engaging in fun cooking projects and the best part?... eating the yummy fruits of their labour around the kitchen table.

Cooking can boost confidences and create memories ( and skills ) that will last a lifetime.  The recipes are simple, tasty and are comprised of ingredients that are mostly in cupboards and refrigerators.  The book has 45 recipes to tackle. They include breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts, and more!

Instructions are very clear and the author has included the proper tools that are needed, a conversion chart, tips to personalize each recipe and has thrown in conversation starters, funny jokes and extra pages at the back where favourite recipes can be recorded.  It is a very thorough, thoughtful book that checks every box for an excellent cooking manual for a child.

The illustrations are colourful and kid-friendly.  This is a wonderful resource for a family in lockdown or for home study units where kids are learning digitally from home.  I highly recommend this book.  It's quality.
