The Book

Every night Bartholomew and his monster friends have a wild rumpus in Bartholomew's room.  Everyone has a blast, so much so,  that in the morning the monsters want to party on!  Unfortunately Bartholomew has to get up and start his day totally exhausted.  The monster brigade impedes his ability to get dressed, brush his teeth, find his hairbrush, or even tie up his shoelaces.  Oh my! Bartholomew is in a pickle and his morning is a disaster!  Will he be able to get ready and get his life sorted for the school day ahead?

The illustrations are such fun. They are full of colour, action and expression.  The monsters are not scary which is a good thing and kids will love observing the diversity of the characters.  The story is relatable and will appeal to both young and old.  I highly recommend the book.
